Responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Oversees day to day operations for the office.
  • Organizes, manages and coordinates all operational and administrative processes.
  • Ensures seamless patient scheduling, surgical coordination and pre-authorizations.
  • Manages office inventory; manages day-to-day relationship with key suppliers/vendors.
  • Provides on-going management of staff and all practice HR issues.
  • Contributes to practice business planning and marketing efforts.
  • Serves as point of contact for patient issues; ensures excellent customer service.
  • Ensures practice compliance with HIPAA and Medicare meaningful use guidelines.
  • Manages operational reporting.

Key qualifications for the position include:

  • Positive attitude and excellent team player. Strong interpersonal communication, managerial and organizational skills, and knowledge of medical practice operations required.
  • B.A. and relevant medical administration and practice management experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications.
  • Experience managing billing and eClincialWorks is a plus.
